SUMMARY:Financial Governance for Trustees (May)
DESCRIPTION:All trustees have a responsibility to look after the finances of their charity. But what does that mean and how should trustees carry out their role legally and responsibly? \nThis course builds on our introductory level course and is suitable for all trustees. This course will go into more detail about roles\, responsibilities and good practice. Steve Place\, CAN’s Senior Advisor\, will use presentations and activities to help you develop better knowledge and skills in this area. \nIt is suitable for any trustee who wants to know more about financial governance especially if they are a treasurer or sit on a finance committee. There will be plenty of chances for Q&A. \nSteve has worked with charities for over 40 years\, has been a trustee for most of that time and is currently the treasurer for a small childcare charity. \nBook your place.
