Food and Cookery Champion

Part time: 16 hours a week
Starting salary £10,233

We know that food helps to bring people together and supports healthy living.
Could you welcome and engage local people in community café activities and services? Can you share skills to involve people in learning about cooking?
We are looking for someone to:
• Demonstrate to small groups how to prepare and cook simple healthy meals
• Share food with members of the community coming into our centres at Bourne and Branksome and visiting our community food store in Turlin Moor
• Plan and prepare food including soups, hot jacket potatoes, paninis etc alongside a hot and cold drinks and snacks offer for twice weekly café sessions.

The post holder would work with volunteer support and be part of a dedicated and friendly staff team.
