Kushti Bok is an award winning organisation formed in Dorset in 2002 by a group of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller people working together to support the communities. Kushti Bok became a registered charity in 2010. In Kushti Bok, we believe that by understanding and learning from our history and traditions and sharing our knowledge and experiences we can:
- Support Gypsy, Roma and Traveller people to thrive now and in the future
- Continue to make an important contribution to our local communities.
As a growing charity, Kushti Bok is now recruiting for a Coordinator that will report to the Chief Executive to ensure that the different projects run successfully and efficiently. The Coordinator will work closely with Citizens Advice and our partnership project which supports Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities in Dorset and BCP. The location of this role is 3B Consort House, Princess Road, Ferndown, Dorset BH22 9JG. However some flexibility in location and work pattern may be needed plus the ability to travel across the area. Key work areas and tasks:

- Ensure the effective delivery of Kushti Bok’s outputs and outcomes under the TNLCF advocacy project.
- Seek funding for and/or manage other projects.
- Liaise and work effectively with members, partners and other stakeholders.
- Encourage and support volunteer involvement.
Person Specification:
- Understanding of the culture and needs of the Gypsy Roma Traveller communities.

- Flexible approach and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Experience of working with volunteers.
- Access to own transport.
