Young People’s Session Worker: Turlin Moor

Part time: 1.5 hours a week – starting rate of £12.30 per hour
Standard hours 4.30pm to 6.00pm on Mondays, term time only, with some flexible working required.
Fixed term contract for 1 year.

Our thriving charity in the heart of the communities we serve is recruiting for a Young People’s Session Worker to support the personal, educational, creative and social development of children and young people in Turlin Moor at a weekly youth session for children aged 9 to 12 on a Monday. This post holder will become part of a dedicated team led by our Senior Young People’s Worker and supported by another staff member.

We need someone with:
– experience working with young people, including dealing with challenging behaviour
– patience, calm and compassion
– excellent aspirations for the young people
– a warm, welcoming enthusiastic outlook
