National Student Volunteering Week is an annual campaign that highlights the contributions of volunteering to the community and society at large. This year it takes place from February 9th to February 15th 2026. Bournemouth University are keen to send their students out to local VCS groups to help out. They would like to invite you to host a ‘Give it a Go’ volunteering opportunity during NSVW, and they will handle the specialist promotion.
To get involved:
- Take a look at the themes for this year and pick an activity (or multiple!) you would like to include
- Upload the opportunity to the SUBU Volunteering Hub
- Register your organisation with SUBU VOLUNTEERING
They will then handle promoting it through their What’s On page and dedicated NSVW webpages. The opportunities will also have dedicated promotion through the central SUBU social media and communications channels.
