Helping people live healthy, happy lives

Staying healthy and living a good life is important to us all. It includes mental and physical health as well as practical and emotional support when we need it most.

There are many ways we can do this, and it will be different for each person. Taking time to do whatever it is that keeps you healthy and happy is so important.

Our role at CAN is to bring together our colleagues from across the NHS, Local Councils, Charities and Community Groups to work with people in our local communities. We want to know what support we can put in place to help people live their best possible lives.

Charities and community groups have a huge role in keeping us well. But we’re also there to support when you need a bit of extra help – this could be someone to talk to if you’re feeling a bit down, to getting out and about, to supporting you find your feet again if you’ve been in hospital.

On these pages you’ll find lots of information on what we do and where to go for help.
