Equipment Rehoming
At CAN we can make use of our extensive voluntary sector networks to redistribute and re-home donations of good condition second-hand equipment. Once we are contacted about an item by a donor we promote it to local charities and community groups on a first-come-first-served basis.
The organisation claiming the item is responsible for collection.
We never reveal the donor’s contact details, and we field all enquiries ourselves; this saves donors from receiving requests after the item has been claimed. In order to do this, we ask that donated items are offered to only to CAN, and not advertised elsewhere.
The items that are most needed are computers and office furniture such as desks and chairs but we have also rehomed filing cabinets, printers, photocopiers, speakers and other standard office furniture along with more unusual items such as a pool table, cameras, sofas, carpets, paint, a mobility scooter and gardening tools.
Donations come from a mix of businesses, charities and community groups and private individuals.

Due to the high demand for equipment and because we never know when a particular item might become available we don’t hold a waiting list of requirements for a particular organisation. Every item is offered on a first come first-served basis as soon as it becomes available.
Equipment Loans
CAN has a range of equipment available to borrow. All electrical equipment has been PAT tested.

- (Screen no 1 is 120cm wide by 140cm tall)

ID Badges
Does your organisation need ID badges? As a CAN member, we can produce colour name badges for you for just a small fee to cover overheads. Prices start from £3.50 for badge only, or £4.00 including a lanyard and card holder with postage options available.
