Hours: 22.5 hours per week (Tuesday – Friday)

Salary: £13.80 – £14.25 per hour equivalent £26,551 – £27,417 PA (if full-time), plus 6% pension contribution

Contract: Permanent Contract

Staff benefits: All staff are offered 3 wellbeing days per year (these are in addition to the annual leave allowance)

Location:  Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Foodbank sites and satellite locations

At Faithworks, our vision is to see people move away from rough sleeping, rebuild their lives and become part of supportive communities where they can flourish. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Case Worker to join our team, working directly with people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. This is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships, provide practical support, and help people access accommodation, benefits, healthcare, recovery services and other pathways that can transform lives.

Key aspects of the role:

• Deliver assessments, Team Talks and person-centred casework support for guests.
• Develop action plans that help people move towards stable accommodation and greater independence.
• Support guests to access housing, benefits, healthcare, employment, training and recovery services.
• Work closely with local partners including statutory agencies, charities and churches.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to a safe, professional and trauma-informed service.

What we are looking for:

• Experience supporting vulnerable adults or people with complex needs.
• Experience of assessment, support planning or case management.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• The ability to build trust with people facing significant challenges.
• Someone who is organised, resilient and motivated to help people achieve lasting change.
