As 2023 ends, I’m reflecting on all the great work delivered this year and the huge positive impact you all make on our communities.

I want to say a heartfelt thank you – whether you volunteer or work for a charity or community group or you’re one of our many public sector colleagues – we’re all driven to make Dorset a great place to live, from our beautiful countryside to the Jurassic coast and golden sands.

It’s been a tough year with us all feeling the effects of the economic crisis and having to do more on fewer resources, but when we all work together we can effect even more great change.

My team at CAN are always here to help and answer questions – if we don’t know, we’ll know someone who does! Our newsletters, social channels and website will continue to have all the latest sector news and celebrate the wonderful work achieved.
