Jack was honoured with the Young Volunteer Award at the 2025 Voluntary Service Awards. To celebrate this incredible achievement, we’ve created a short film highlighting his journey and the remarkable impact he has had on our community.

After completing a Spear program himself, Jack made the rare and wonderful choice to return as a volunteer. For nearly two years, he has been one of our Spear’s most dedicated supporters, consistently attending their charity events and celebration evenings with unwavering enthusiasm.

As an ambassador for Spear, Jack can often be found at the supporter desk, where he helps with charitable donations, answers questions about their work, and warmly represents the charity. He’s always the first to jump in and offer help, and he continually advocates for Spear within his own workplace.

What makes Jack’s story so inspiring is the humility and kindness he shows every day. Despite facing his own significant challenges, he continues to show up and give back to the very program that helped him. His resilience and positive spirit are a constant source of inspiration to all of us at Spear Bournemouth.
