A fresh round of grants from the Change for Good fund are set to help the work of the Homelessness Partnership BCP.
Voluntary and Community Sector Members who have signed the Homelessness Partnership’s charter and met the criteria for promoting their activities on the Street Support website (www.streetsupport.net/bcp) can apply for funding.
Applications are now open for grants of up to £500 for practical items and services that will support individuals to recover from homelessness and assist their journey into independent living. This category is open to voluntary sector groups and BCP Council.
The Dorset Community Foundation (DCF), which issues grants independently, said project costs of up to £1,000 are also available for voluntary sector group services that help people to move away from the streets.
Partnership members have until 16 November to apply but should act quickly because grants are awarded on a first come, first served basis, until funds are exhausted.
