John Jennings, Disability and Engagement Office for AFC Bournemouth said ‘AFC Bournemouth are proud to announce that we are launching our new project called Cherries Together which is aimed at reaching supporters from diverse backgrounds in our local areas.
We invite you to join us for our first event to outline our goals of what Cherries Together can achieve in the local community in engaging supporters from all backgrounds to become part of the Cherries community. This will be an opportunity for an open discussion across multiple community groups to help shape the direction of the project.
We will be hosting a coffee networking afternoon which will include a tour of the 1st team changing rooms, tunnel and dugouts and our community sports trust will be running sessions for under 18s as part of the event.’
The event will be on Tuesday May 28th, from 1pm – 3pm at AFC Bournemouth and it would be fantastic if you, and some of your team/members, could be there. Hannah will be attending and would love to see you there!”
