CAN connects!

Carers Right’s Day is an annual national campaign that brings organisations together to help unpaid carers know their rights. So, we wanted to be part of the CRISP (BCP Council – Carers’ Resource Information and Support Programme) Carers Rights Event, held recently at Citygate Church in Bournemouth, to highlight the support available to carers provided by local charities and community groups.

The event had a strong turnout, with numerous brilliant local organisations present, including  PramaLife, SWAD and Help and Care, all dedicated to supporting carers in the BCP area.

We had the opportunity to talk to lots of people on the day, public and professionals alike, about the services available to them and those they care for. Overall, it was a fantastic event with networking and building meaningful connections. We look forward to attending more in future.
