Have your say on the Children & Young Peoples Plan

Published on 13 August, 2024

The Children and Young People’s Partnership is an alliance of leaders of organisations from across the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) area, that support children and young people to stay safe and achieve the best possible outcomes.

Their Children and Young People’s Plan 2021-2024 is ending, and a new plan launched in April 2025. This four-year plan will set out the difference they will make to the lives of children and young people across BCP between 2025 and 2029. At the heart of the plan is co-production and inclusion, and we are seeking support, views and knowledge to help identify priorities.

The voluntary & community sector is key to the plan’s development and successful delivery. If you are involved in supporting and safeguarding children and young people in Bournemouth, Christchurch or Poole, you are invited to a workshop to help shape the plan.

CAN is a key partner in the Children and Young People’s Partnership, and the previous plan saw significant improvements in the services and support available for our communities. We now need to continue to deliver on the vision for our children and young people –  that BCP is a great place to live, where all children and young people have the best possible opportunities in life and are supported by the community to flourish, grow and succeed.

Join CAN & BCP Council on Wednesday 4 September at 10 am at the Civic Centre, Bournemouth.
