Introduction to autism and learning disabilities for volunteer coordinators (Zoom)
When: 12th October from 9.30am to 12.30pm
This interactive training aimed at Volunteer Coordinators introduces autism and learning disabilities. It will help you update your knowledge and increase your self-confidence in managing volunteers with autism or learning disabilities. NB: Places initially limited to one Volunteer Coordinator per organisation.

PramaLife dementia awareness for volunteer coordinators and volunteers (face to face)

Do you work or volunteer with people living with dementia? Do you have members in your team with early onset dementia?
During this friendly and interactive session, delivered by Sue Warr from PramaLife, you’ll learn more about dementia, how it affects a person and what you can do to help people affected by dementia in your community. Big or small, every action counts!

Online Information Session – introduction to volunteering
Do you support people who may be interested in volunteering, but they aren’t sure where to start or what roles are available? We would like to invite them to one of our short online information sessions where they can find out more about who we are and how we can help support them in finding a role. These sessions complement our monthly pop-in sessions where you can find us in a library / community venue within the BCP area!

We are looking to host our next series of volunteer fairs in January 2024.
