Work with young people aged 11-15 and want to connect?

The Shine Project is holding its wellbeing event on 28 March 2024, at Bournemouth University and inviting all organisations that support young people’s physical and mental health to come along.

Wellbeing 2024 – works to connect communities to create a culture of positive physical and mental health for young people in Dorset.

As a charity that supports young people with their physical and mental health, we understand the challenges organisations can face reaching the young people who most need your support.

The Shine Project Wellbeing 2024

Wellbeing 2024 allows you to engage with local schools and young people signposting them to your organisation, whilst giving the young people an opportunity to familiarise themselves with your team reducing barriers to access.

This whole-day event is designed to promote healthy behaviours and connect young people and schools to support services using interactive stands, workshops and speakers.

This will be The Shine Project’s third Wellbeing event and with your support, it will be the best yet.

In 2019 we had 340 young people attend from 16 different schools.  Already we have 150 young people signed up to attend.  Whilst previous events were aimed at females, this year’s event is open to all, building on The Thrive Initiative – our wellbeing course aimed at males, which has been running for two years.
