Published on 5 June, 2024

At Forest Holme Hospice Charity, volunteers are essential to their ability to provide care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses. Volunteer Manager Heidi Haagensen shared how grateful they are to all their volunteers, who in the past 5 months have been involved in 19 events raising important funds and covered over 200 ward shifts.

“We are so privileged to have so many wonderful volunteers. We would like to express our sincere and deepest thanks for the invaluable contribution made by all of our volunteers. Each and every role makes a difference to people’s lives, helping our mission to ensure everyone in our community affected by life-limiting illness or bereavement, get the care and support they need.
