Pavilion Dance South West (PDSW) have been in their wonderful venue by the sea for 15 years now. Their offer of dance classes and shows is stronger than ever, and we’re delighted to feature them as one of our Community Heroes this month.

Pavilion Dance South West is a registered charity dedicated to transforming communities through dance. They offer dance experiences that are relevant, diverse, inclusive, and captivating. Their seaside creative hub in Bournemouth is home to their dancing community, with a historic seafront building home to two modern dance studios and a 197-seat theatre.

PDSW hosts over 30 dance classes a week, from Ballroom to Bollywood, Mini–Movers for 0-5 year olds, street dance and salsa, there’s something for everyone. Katie from PDSW is a regular at our networking events and said the latest was a ‘Beautiful safe space full of helpful information.’

Through theatre and outdoor performances, weekly dance classes, in-school workshops, social dance events, screenings, and many other activities, PDSW welcome people of all backgrounds to experience the embodied joy of dancing.

To celebrate their 15th year in central Bournemouth, there’s an extended theatre programme and a new 3 Show ‘Ticket Bundle’ with over a 40% discount to 3 shows over 12 months.
