Become a Charities & Community Groups Involvement Partner

We’re working with the BCP Council to support its Early Help Partnership. We advocate for local charities and community groups and ensure the Charities & Community Groups voices informs key discussions and decisions.

As part of this work, we’ve developed the role of Charities & Community Groups Involvement Partner to enable sector leaders with expertise to share their knowledge in the development of services for babies, children, young people and families in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area at various boards and meetings.

We recognise that some folks have so much knowledge and expertise to share, and could use to help our children have the best start in life.

If you work or volunteer for a local charity or community group and want to make a difference we want to hear from you. We’ll support you and help gather and share insights and information with your sector colleagues.

We are looking for Charities & Community Groups Involvement Partners to support the further development of the Early Help Partnership and to sit on the following:

  • Early Help Partnership Board
  • Business as usual Operations and Service Delivery Workstream
  • Digital, Data and Technology Workstream
  • Workforce Development Workstream
  • Communities, Communications and Marketing Workstream
  • SEND Improvement Board

We offer a bursary of £200 per year for each Charities & Community Groups Involvement Lead to support expenses.
