BCP Early Help Partnership

Published on 16 May, 2024

When dealt with early enough, children and young people can overcome difficulties if they get the right information, advice and support at the right time. That’s why we’re a key part of the BCP Early Help Partnership, helping to bring support and help to families when they need it.

What Is Early Help?

Early Help refers to services that support children and families when challenges arise. These services aim to improve outcomes for children and prevent issues from escalating.

We firmly believe that every child deserves the best start in life. However, there are times when families may need some assistance to achieve this. Over the next year, we are partnering with the BCP Council to support the innovative Early Help Transformation program.

Guided by the Marmot principle, which emphasises providing every child with the best possible start, our goal is to strengthen and advocate for organisations across Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole that serve children, young people, and their families.

We will collaborate with communities and local organisations to understand existing efforts, identify successful practices, and address gaps in support for children, young people, and families. By creating a support network, we aim to build strong communities where everyone thrives.
