Powered by Youth is a new youth-led charity supporting and empowering neurodiverse young people aged 14-25 years to become happy, self-assured individuals whilst changing society for the better.

They aim to create a safe, neuro-affirming community where young people come together to:

• build friendships
• grow in confidence
• share experiences
• learn new skills
• mentor each other without judgment.

Through activities such as consultations, community events and training to professionals, teachers and health professionals, the young people involved are encouraged to raise awareness about topics close to their hearts, including ‘being neurodivergent’ and ‘tokenism’.

As a relatively new charity, Powered By Youth is still at the beginning of its journey. Their dream is to create an affirming space that brings young people together to feel part of something special.

They strive to create an inclusive community, allowing young people to unapologetically be themselves.
