• that do not have a dedicated Human Resources team
• and will typically have a turnover of less than £1 million per year

Sonia is an HR professional specialising in supporting small charities and social enterprises with their people issues. Sonia has over 30 years of experience in HR management in the charity/social enterprise, research, higher education and local government sectors. In addition, Sonia has served as a charity trustee, advisory board member of a large social enterprise and volunteer mediator.

For the last ten years, Sonia has run Populo, a social enterprise (www.populo.org.uk) helping small charities and social enterprises to manage their people better – improving confidence and peace of mind and allowing them to make a greater impact for good in their communities.
