Options Wellbeing Trust support individuals and groups of people with their emotional and mental health. They provide accessible counselling and therapy services for a range of challenges and difficulties, such as anxiety, stress, panic, grief, loss, life-changing situations, addiction, eating disorders, trauma and complex trauma. For more information about their services and how they can help, get in contact with them.
They recently received funding from the Dorset Community Foundation to extend their peer support network for people with eating difficulties and their carers/supporters into Dorset and BCP council areas. Eating difficulties can be very socially isolating, but there are several ways to get involved;
- Through a members-only Facebook page called Kick ED Together.
- Monthly in-person groups or 1:1 buddying with a volunteer peer supporter with experience of moving forward from an eating difficulty or caring for someone who has. Find out more or join the peer support network.
- A member portal with reading materials, self-help worksheets and workbooks. Click Join under the black log-in button.
